So, Minecraft is a classic sandbox game that you probably have heard of. If not, this will clear up how to play and what you can do. If you’ve already played, you will probably know most of this stuff but you may learn something new as I teach here.
Survival
Survival is the classic Minecraft game mode where you spawn in a world with no items in your inventory, and you start to mine wood and stone and slowly develop more efficient and useful tools as you go.
In the early days of Minecraft (or “Cave Game” as it was called back then,) the only option to play was survival. When you spawned, you would have no items and a Health Bar because Food Bars didn’t exist back then. Nowadays, you spawn and the first thing you should do is find wood.
Like I’ve said before, you need to find wood, stone and build a shelter before Monsters or ‘Mobs’ come out and try to kill you.
Most Mobs are easy to defeat because of low intelligence and an all-round low heath bar. If you’re not careful though, they could sneak up on you and do some major damage.
Above is a list of most aggressive mobs that I thought of. For new comers, Mobs aren’t that scary and when you fight them, it’s not like you are always fighting for your life. (This doesn’t apply to boss mobs like the Ender Dragon and the Wither though.)
Creative
In many ways, creative is the opposite of survival. You can’t die, you can fly, and you have unlimited blocks of every kind.
Creative is an awesome option if you want to build endless creations without having them blown up by creepers or if you just want to explore and see what the Minecraft world has to give you!
Wrapping up
So that’s it for this blog post! Stay tuned for more Minecraft related ones but also look out for other games posted on this website. I try to review as many video games as I can so look out for your favorite video game. If you have a game you’d like for me to review, post it in the comment section! I take every comment into consideration.
That’s it for me. Bye!

Hi Noah! Cool site. I don’t play minecraft, but your cousins do – maybe you guys can visit each others’ worlds? Miss you, Uncle Jud
Ethan still plays Minecraft at 19 years old! Great game that is already a classic. He found a world online that was Disneyland – everything was very similar. You even got to go on the rides! Would you recommend any changes to Minecraft to make it even better?
I really want to check out that Disenyland server. it sounds really cool. I think Minecraft needs no updates anymore but new ones are exciting as always. I can’t wait to see what the future of Minecraft brings!!
