If you were wanting to play Breath of the Wild 2 then you’ll have to wait because coming November 20, Nintendo is releasing the second edition to Hyrule Warriors. This game takes place 100 years before the great calamity and explains the story of the rising attacks of monsters and how everyone responded.
Hyrule Warriors is basically a 1 vs 1000 game where you are constantly surrounded by tons of weak monsters. Every once and a while though, a boss or a couple of stronger entities will appear.
The thing that will separate Age of Calamity from Breath of the Wild and eventually Breath of the Wild 2 is the fact that you can play as the Champions. In Breath of the Wild, all four champions died in battle and the only interaction with them was inside the divine beasts when you saw them as spirits. In Age of Calamity, it looks as if you can play as the champions, Link, and even Zelda.
I can’t wait for the game to release! I will make posts about the next upcoming Zelda events soon so check in (Or just around November) to see when that happens.
