We have A LOT of topics to cover in today’s blog. From cars, to the city of Atlantis, to new fish, the Fortnite update was pretty major.
The Car Update
In my opinion, cars were the best update Epic has given us in a long time. from being able to fuel them up, to listening to the radio, there’s much that can come with the vehicle. The cars that are drivable are:
The Mudflap (Semi/Slurp Truck)
The OG Bear (Pickup truck)
The Prevelent (Car)
And The Whiplash (Sportscar)
Each car can be found around the map and will come with a certain amount of fuel in it already. When inside a car, you will see little gas symbols on your mini-map, which marks the location of the gas stations. You can take a gas container to-go though, if you don’t feel like stopping to fill up every five minutes.
The Atlantis Update
Technically, this was part of last update, but I didn’t write a blog on that one so we’re just going to squeeze it into this one.
The Atlantis (A.K.A. Coral Castle) was put in place of the giant whirlpool on the North-West side on the map. Sadly, no henchmen or a Aquaman boss were added but there are plenty of chests which make it a pretty good drop location.
There are cool waterfalls around Coral Castle and plenty of cool architecture at every turn, so there’s plenty to enjoy!
Possible Leaks
So possible leaks range from the all new Dragon Shotgun, to all kinds of new fish species.
The new fish species are un-named but here are a list of the possible kinds and colors of them.
Again, this could be a false alarm but having some new fish would be pretty cool as there are only three types at the time of writing.
Other leaks include the Dragon Shotgun, which is a shotgun that has a body shot of 140 damage. This gun would be a perfect add-on to the list of weapons as the current two shotguns in-game are pretty weak.
